As far as im aware it blocks the androgen recepters that produce DHT, testosterone isn't such a worry as it doesn't affect hair loss the same as DHT does

Because I want to avoid the relfex-hyperandrogenic from finasteride with RU !

Women may be able to use it as its topical so less side effects but there is more of a risk obviously than if a man uses it, its a research anti androgen chemical compound that supposedly halts hair loss and receding hairlines. I am yet to try it but many people on here say it works and is as good as finasteride, problem is its expensive.. google anagen or kane for more info

the only thing it blocks is androgen receptors in the hair. Therefore any androgen (including test) will be prevented from interacting with the hair follicle. RU has zero effects on T and DHT or any androgens everywhere in the body. I am not even sure if women's hairloss is caused by androgens I am not sure about women's hairloss, but I would really consider more proven solutions especiall if you are a woman....

yep that's true zzzzz sorry that's what I meant to say RU has no effect systemticaly so it shouldn't affect your hormones

I started RU along with dutasteride so I can't say if it had any effect or if it was just the dutasteride. I came to the conclusion that dutasteride is so strong by itself that there really isn't a point in taking RU with it. So I stopped and just use dutasteride + min +nizoral
