Ru 58841 Solvent Question ! (ethanol)

RU guides suggest to use "Everclear" liquor as the ethanol source for mixing.

Where I live Everclear is not available.

Instead I went to my hardware store and found jugs of "Ethanol/Denatured Alcohol".

On the back it says "Contains Ethanol and isopropyl alcohol."

Is this okay to use?

I'm pretty sure denatured alcohol is harmful since they add stuff to it to make it harmful if ingested, i'd imagine it would be bad for your skin as well.

Everclear is illegal in the state where I live but I had no problem buying it online, just had to sign for it like ordering any other alcoholic beverage

Edit: Some denatured alcohol contains methanol which is very harmful. They do use other chemicals as well though, look it up
