I am 20 years old and I believe that I began losing my hair at around age 15. I am a Norwood III and I have really long curly hair that conceals my hair loss very well. Anyway, I have been using Rogaine 5% foam and regenpure DR (Keto 1%) and Nt for two months as well. I added viviscal and LLLT (Hairmax lasercomb) about two weeks ago. I am afraid to get on propecia at this time, but am considering it. I have posted some before and after photos. What do you guys think? Am I responding/improving?

Your hairline has thickened and your crown has completely filled in! I would say you are totally responding and improving man. Honestly, I would make the jump to Propecia so you can maintain these results (if not see more).

Also, I would say you're a Norwood 2.

Thank you man. Very encouraging to hear your words. You really think I'm a NWII? Also, are you on propecia? I am very scared of the side effects

Yeah maybe a NW2.5 at the WORST. I have been on Propecia for around 3 weeks now. So far, still the same rate of shedding and no sides. Hoping for the best.

How advanced are you and what's your age? I'm really scared of adding it to the regimen but I know I need it

My hair loss is still fairly mirror (most people in my family laughed at me when I brought it up first) but I wanted to start early so I could attempt to keep what I have. I'm probably around a Norwood 2 (although my derm told me he still considers me a Norwood 1 which I don't believe) and my crown is starting to lose it. I'm 22 years old.

Your hair looks pretty darn good. What's your total regimen?

Hey thank you man. I caught my hair loss pretty early, so hopefully I can slow it down/maintain a lot.

My current regimen is:

1% Nizoral every other day (soon to be 2%)
Tricomin shampoo on the "off" days
Rogaine 5% foam on my temples
Generic Target brand min liquid for my crown
finasteride 1.25 mg once a day
Biotin 5000 mcg a day

Been on it for about 2-3 weeks now.

Awesome regimen. How do you get 2% nizoral? And is it the generic nizoral brand?

I've been thinking of using the min liquid for my crown as well, since it's such a pain to smear the foam on the crown (hair blocks it). Does the liquid form dry quickly?

What do you think of my hair situation? Yes foam dries fast and provides a thickening effect

Thank you! I plan on getting the 2% as a generic prescription from my derm. With my insurance it will help up being like $4 for a bottle haha like you can't beat that.

The liquid foam dries super quickly on my temples. I didn't like to use it on my crown because like you said, its hard to see/smear it in. I use the little dipper with the liquid min to "feel out" where my thin spot is so I can apply it correctly. I would say that the generic Target brand I have been using dries fairly quickly too.
