Rogaine stopped working, started finasteride, can rogaine be "kick started" again?

I started minoxidil when i first started thinning 2 years, helped slow thinning down but its been progressing more and more so i started finasteride finally. Now im going to keep using both regardless, but my question is can the use of finasteride allow for more benefit from minoxidil? I had maximized minoxidil basically but will the effects of finasteride allow minoxidil to work more now? really need thickening of the crown/any regrowth/thickening on hairline i can get- just curious if this makes sense. thanks guys

Continue with both Finasteride and Minoxidil. Finasteride is to inhibit the DHT that attacks your hair follicles while Minoxidil is to stimulate hair growth. You should definitely get better benefit from Minoxidil now that you added Finasteride into your regimen, thickening of the crown and regrowth of the hairline is likely to happen.
