Rogaine smell on hands...

I've been using rogaine for about a week.

It says to wash hands well. Usually I will apply soap, wash for 10 seconds clean, and repeat twice more.

But even after washing three times I can smell rogaine on my hand.

Do you think this means there's still rogaine on my hands or what? I just don't want to handle food and other things if it's still on my hands.

Do I need to switch hand soap or is this the same for everyone?

LOL. I guess you must have some form of OCD.

The smell usually stays for less than 30 minutes and should evaporate due to the alcohol. They tell you to wash your hands just in case you touch your eyes etc.

I simple standard wash of hands will be ok. Besides.... are'nt you rubbing the stuff in with your fingers?

well yeah i rub it into the scalp. but i would imagine that it's also being rubbed into the hands and fingers, ya know?

took me about a week or two to get used to the smell. i apply once a day (at night) and while i'm sure you could smell it on my scalp (a medicinal, skin care type smell) i've never once noticed it lingering on my hands
