Rogaine rub on applicator

I was on the regaine website there and they have a video tutorial on how to apply the stuff with each of the three applicators. With the rubon it says rub it on and then rub it in, this could explain why i'm getting so much residue because i don't rub mine in, wont a lot of it be taken off by your finger? anyone else using the rub on applicator rub it in?

Great question. I use a regular eye dropper and I do a little bit rub it in but I don't go extreme like some of the clips I saw online. I've seen some videos where guy was rubbing minoxidil very hard in his scalp. I think it was ridicules!
I just gently rub minoxidil in a scalp with my fingers. I have never used rub on applicator.
