Rogaine not working if scalp is Irritated?

Hello everyone. I just started Propecia yesterday and want to begin on rogaine as well. I naturally have dry skin (no dandruff on scalp though) and im worried about irritation of rogaine. I know there is a shedding faze involved but if the rogaine is irritating is there a chance it will only shed and not regrow? Should I only used once at night if irritating or not at all? I know length of shedding is different in everyone. Please let me know thanks.

I have only started my regimen, but from reading this forum and gathered a lot of information before I started. I think you need to use Nizoral Shampoo (Ketoconazole).
