Well everything seems ok, except this itching is back and rather annoying. Im using brand name Rogaine foam 5 % and maybe a pea sized amount on each temple only once a day. Ive only been using it a month, is this common And will it go away? I use the tiny amount of Rogaine in the am. A few days ago I started putting a lil dab of emu oil on each temple before bed and it seems to help the itching. I never had any scalp itch before Rogaine...

Well, all that whining and worry for nothing... At almost exactly 3 months my hair is growing back . The shed was noticeable to me for sure and really stood out bc the rest of my hair is 5in long or so. If my hair grows in the way its looking ill be a norwood 0 ! I knew there was a reason i wanted to add minoxidil in the first place...

No; Rogaine destroyed my hairline and didn't grow anything back. Now I'm Norwood 4, my hairline is gone and my vertex is thinning.

i just meant all the whining and worry from me. Sorry dante, that really sucks man, for real. I know how shitty my lil hair loss made me feel sometimes. and the hope of improvement when starting fda approved treatments only to see them fail, is a total kick in the gut. Hang in there man

ah man, i wish i could say something to make ya feel better, but There's nothing i could say though... Just really try to not be depressed, its a tough way to live. I did it for a long time, not just about hair

About 2 months in I noticed small but dark hairs where I had minoxidil-shed the most. I would say more than before I started minoxidil but too hard to tell yet. No growth at my temples where I most want it. This is where I saw most recession before minoxidil. I'm not on finasteride so I guess that makes it a lot harder to regrow on temples where DHT seems to be strongest currently.

Did you see growth at all or did it just shed and shed? How long before you stopped?
