I KNOW this is an impossible question to answer but I want some idea of how long minoxidil will "work" for me. I have been a pretty good responder at the 5 month mark.

What does the data suggest? 2 years before retreating towards baseline?

Yes it is. I'm using more than minoxidil but it's still working.

I noticed it started to fall out as soon as i started using it, plus some side effects, namely fluid retention, but after 2 months i started growing hair back. After the sixth month my hair started going really thin again and I'm sure it started falling out. Even so, I held out for 14th months and it stabilised and pretty much the same as before i started using it. A week or so after stopping I started urinating every hour or two tons of fluid for a couple of days, which was strange.
