Rogaine killing my crown

I have started using Rogaine Foam 5% almost 3 months ago, and ever since I started it has been slowly killing my crown area. I used to have a good amount of hair in that area and on top. I only started using this for my hairline. I also started using proscar one month ago. Is this most likely due to a shed? Or has anyone else seen this happen before, and what could possibly come of it?

I had some crown shedding one month into propecia. I've also heard rogaine sheds are bad about 3 months in. Don't you dare quit treatment for a solid 12-18 months!

Ok. Actually lately things have been getting better. I got scared and switched to rogaine liquid because of this guy named Perriera's posts on here. It seems better on my hair although a little oily. I started using Nizoral 1% as well which I relaly like. I think there is a slight improvement but still much too early to tell.

it looks about the same - which is good.

one thing i've definitely noticed is less gray hairs. before finasteride when i'd cut my hair short there would be gray hairs everywhere, now i hardly see any.
