Rogaine Foam--questions and concerns

Hey all, I've been using Rogaine Foam for almost four weeks now, I apply about at least a capful along my hairline, and for the past few weeks now I've been noticing some steadily increasing stinging and burning. The burning does decrease with application amount, but not completely--and I'm worried reducing the application amount too much will negate the effectiveness of the Foam anyway.

Also noticing some pretty heavy thinning along my temples. I'll apply a coat before bed, wear a hat to keep it contained, and my temples will be noticeably thinner when I wake. I thought shedding was only to last about 2 weeks max, and here it is week 4 and it is still continuing unabated.

Understandably all of this has me pretty concerned. I'm not ready to quit yet but if the shedding and burning continues I don't see any other choice. I only have a little nub of temple hair left so I can't afford to just experiment or try to wait and see if the recession stops. I am ordering a month supply of Spectral DNC-L but I'm wondering if there are any other effective treatments for frontal recession?

The only real difference I'm counting on with the Spectral is the transmission vehicle: doesn't use alchohol, hopefully that'll get rid of the burning, and hopefully it absorbs better.

Anyone have any other suggestions for recession? Should I stick with the Rogaine Foam? I've heard a lot of stories about people losing their hairlines permanently with Rogaine Foam and that is a nightmare scenario for me.

Hey mate

well....

the grand daddy of all imo appears to be:

Nanominox-ms

http://www.sinere.com/shop/304SP2_relea ... dukte.html

Its got a blend of excellent ingredients and minoxidil sulphate. Combine that with the fact that its the cleanest minoxidil out there whereas Spectral supposedly leaves a stain (not to mention its ridiculously expensive etc).

Admittedly i havent used it yet but ive did my research and on paper at least it appears excellent. Supposedly absorbs in 10 minutes unlike some of the greasy rogaine sh*t ive used.

Hope this helps.
