Going thru this subforum as I'm about to embark on Rogain foam now that I buzzed my head to a short stubble and the foam will be easy to apply and not messy. But after reading several posts I am asking why do ppl look for improvement in their hairlines/temples when Rogaine specifically says its intended use is for crown/vertex area?

I don't get it. Am I missing something?

it was only tested on the crown so by law they can only state that its for the crown but many see improvement at the hairline/temples.............you wont know if youre one of them til you try :)

I see. Makes sense. Thanks.

I bought a 4 month supply for $50 from Costco. Curios to see how I respond. No great expectations or hopes for that matter.

What puzzles me is who decided that showing efficacy for growing hair on the top of someone's head does not entitle the maker even the suggestion that it might help on the front... These are not completely different body parts!

This only bothers me because I think a lot of people who could be helped by minoxidil don't even try because of that warning on the package. There are even dermatologists who believe minoxidil does not work at all in the front, which is sad...
