How fast does your Rogaine Foam disappear from your hand?

This is the first time that I use Rogaine Foam but in the moment when I put it onto my hand, there is litteraly no time left to apply it onto my scalp - it turns into liquid minoxidil in the matter of seconds!

Does it (the turning into the liquid too fast!) happen to you too, or should there be a more "substantial" form of foam to apply it?

Thanks very much!

1) Run cold water onto your hands
2) Chill the can

Both should work, or if you can, apply it directly to the area. The foam doesn't need to be in a foam state to work. However, you can't just let it dry on your hands.

edit: err, you CANT let it dry on your hands.

Yes, you must run cold water on your hand first. The foam is designed to turn to liquid when it reaches your body temperature so that it is absorbed more quickly in the area you want it. So when it gets near to your head it immediately applies itself to the scalp. Then you can quickly massage it in.
