Rogaine Foam - Does it bleach? (Any chemists in here?)

Hi guys,

Anxious to get started on my Rogaine Roam regimen after a not-so-good experience on Finasteride.

Anyway, to the point - does Rogaine contain bleach, or chemicals capable of bleaching? I've read a few isolated posts about Rogaine lightening some hair - but I'm guessing that's mostly due to the alcohol combined with sun exposure..

I did a quick search of the ingredients listed on the bottle but none seem to have the chemical ability to bleach (individually, at least).

The reason I ask is, as trivial as it is, just about every piece of manchester (not to mention clothing), in my house is black. I really don't want to inadvertently bleach / stain everything. (I've done this before with an Acne medication.)

Foam doesn't contain bleach or anything that could discolor your clothes. It dries very quick on scalp.

Everyone else has had the same experience? The posts I've read about the product 'lightening' hairs is the only thing that has me concerned.

I switched from the liquid to the foam and didn't see any changes in color. My hair is dark brown, so bleaching would be very obvious.
