Rogaine foam and washing hair

How long after you apply the foam do you think it would be safe to wash your hair? I will agree it is not as greasy as the liquid, but it is still something I do not desire having in my thinning hair.

The manufacturer states 4 hours minimum. But be aware, at this point only 75% has been absorbed, so you may be missing out on some of the benefit.

I started a post about this recently, I'd much rather wash my hair after 4 hours if its job is done but I would imagine that it's better to leave it on despite a few people saying that it should be o.k..
