i haven't started on minoxidil yet, and i know that it is easier to apply with a shaved head, but what's the point when we all want to have hair. i was wondering if there is a logical/effective way of applying rogaine foam to a head of longer hair (not really long, not even shoulder length). if anyone has any tips, please let me know.

also, if you do experience growth from minoxidil, does the hair actually grow longer?

thank you!

Are you having troubles with it or are you planning for when you purchase the foam? its really not a problem at all. I think the best way might be to just apply the foam directly to the scalp in small intervals every inch or so you need to cover and then rub in with your fingers. I have no problem penetrating my hair into my scalp with it.
