Rogaine has been growing unwanted hair around my cheeks and sideburns. Is there anything to do to minimize or control this?

Minoxidil (Rogaine) is a localized method, it should not cause hair growth in areas where it is not applied.

To my knowledge, minoxidil can grow hair in the vicinity of the application. Hence, I have read people getting bushy eyebrows etc. I can guarantee that I have tiny tiny hair on the upper part of my cheeks. There is no other explanation then the fact that it is the minoxidil.

I gotta ask because I have always wanted to do this...

I can grow a mustache and a chin goate but can't connect the two, ie Johnny Deep "goatee"

If I apply Rogaine there could I have a fuller beard? I wonder if it'd all fall out once I stopped using it? lol

I'm 2 months into my Rogaine regimen. I'm adding a dab to 2 spots on my beard at the corners of my mouth where I'd like hair to be. I'll let you know how it works out in 4-10 months. =p
