rogaine before surgery

I have heard you should stop using rogaine 10 days before surgery..why is this? is this correct advise.? thanks.

Thats due to chance of excess bleeding. I was told the same before my hair transplant. No minoxidil, no vitamin E and no aspirin from 10 days before.

yep, get off it 2 weeks prior to surgery, for life hopefully
