Rogaine as a styling foam?

Does anyone use rogaine foam to style their hair like a normal hair product or does it just make a mess of everything?

Whats the point of using it to syle your hair , when using it I inadvertently always get some on my hair ,theres just no way of avoiding it,
when it drys it makes the hair thicker and I then style my hair,
But thats just a by product , if I could avoid getting on my hair I would

I think you guys misunderstand my question. I realise it would be a damned expensive styling product but my question is - having to use it anyway does it help to style your hair like a styling foam would?

I dont really know because I've never used hair gels/foams etc.

I just want to know if having to use it in the morning for example it would actually be ok to style or whether it just makes a damn mess and harder to style your remaining hair?

Well like I said it drys fast and kinda thickens the hair,
so no mess to talk about just let it dry and brush through,
no one will know your using it

i use some styling products in my hair and in my experience with Rogaine Foam, it doesnt do the same thing as regular styling foam, gels, etc. I havent really tried it solely as a styling product as I try to get as much as I can directly on my scalp so not that much goes onto my hair. Once it dries a bit I actually kind of try to get it off my hair by slightly wetting my hands with water and combing through my hair with my fingers but not wetting my scalp. Thats just me because I use other products after to style my hair.
