I recently (2 month ago) added Rogaine foam to my Propecia regiment because after 6 years of successful finasteride usage with good maintaining I started losing hair massively.
I wanted to conduct a little research about Rogaine application technique.
I generally apply the foam directly on my scalp and then rub it in to the skin with pressure like I would do with a hands cream. The problem is that each time, I pull few hairs because I rub the scalp.
Maybe, just spreading the foam on the surface is enough for Min to penetrate the dermis?
I would like to just spread it without rubbing in but I'm afraid that therapeutic action will be lower.
Please share your application method (rubbing/ spreading gently), duration of the treatment and how do you find your result.
Also, add the type of the minoxidil, quantity used and treatment area.
If the statistics would be wide enough, the results could be representing and we all can benefit from it by finding the ideal method.
