Right temples always seem higher than left...

Has anyone else noticed this? Anyone I look at who is receding or even has a mature hairline, their right temple is higher than the left.

Just been on IMDB looking at people like Johnny Depp, Gary Oldman, Stephen Dorff, River Phoenix and on and on.

I know a lot are either mature hairlines or slowly thinning but it's always the right temple higher. I wonder if it means anything?

I was born with my right temple higher and it seems like my left temple has thinned snail pace over the last 9 years and halfway there to match the right.

It is the left temple for me. It had the most hairlos, but with medications they are now almost equal in hairline. They are still alot weaker on left side though

Well i think that's due to the fact that our faces are not completely symmetrical. I know for me the right side of my face is slightly more elevated that the left...even my eye. I sound like I look like sloth off of The Goonies from my description but it is something no one would ever notice except for myself. I have noticed most other guys are the same way but you really have to look hard for it.

I think that is why most of us look a bit different from one side of our face than the other.

True but, like you said you don't notice it because it's so slight. The temple thing is quite noticeable. Even in people with NW1 and 2s with no real hairloss. The right side is higher. I even see it on women.

I guess it could just be more noticeable because it's framed with hair? I don't know but I have noticed that is the case with me. Every time I get my hair cut I always end up with uneven bangs because of it so now I have to ask my barber to wet the hair in front and comb it down to make sure it looks normal. I'm growing my hair out long again though so I shouldn't have to worry about that for quite some time again!

Yes my right is higher also, I do think its because thats the side i sleep on. Good observation, Ive never really noticed it before (Im watching "Inception" right now and Leo's right side is higher too) how most peoples right side is higher.

Seriously now, every TV show or film I watch, I see people with the right side higher whether they have a full head of hair or are losing it.
