are the before and after pics from the revivogen website real? I mean does revivogen really work, or just another product out there?

Use the search feature. There are many threads on it.

Here is one recent one: viewtopic.php?f=61&t=65118&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

It seems like people who use it seem to have favorable opinions while outsiders call it a sham. Just remember that it is intended to keep the hair you have instead of growing new hair, like finasteride.

I tried revivogen, and topical spironolactone. Neither one did anything for me and with the pain of using them it might not even be worth it to me if they maintain what I had. I would rather pop a pill and that is why Merck made propecia as a pill instead of topical they said. They probably wish they went topical with all the ED complaints you hear about.

Topical finasteride has a pretty dismal record, as far as official studies are concerned (see the Messenger et al study from the late 1990's, for example); THAT is probably why Merck hasn't done anything with topical finasteride: it just doesn't work.

I only tried spironolactone and revivogen I have not used propecia yet, but I think im going to try it. Try to get proscar and if not normal propecia and cut it up into .25 or even half that if I can just to save money since its about as effective no matter how small you chop it with the dosage curve it has.
I still have a lot of hair and I really worry about sheds or propecia breaking the front hairline or speeding it up. Lot of unknowns to take the chance at slight regrowth and maybe keeping it the same for the next 5 years.

Oh could be true, I just know merk said they polled guys for what formalization then wanted and they choose internal because it was easier. Its possible back in 1990 it was harder to make topical that could get through the scalp without causing problems like systemic absorption. Im not up on all the recent advancements but in the last 20 years we probably have better ways to penetrate but not get the sides from absorption but not sure.

Who cares? As long as you can get a doctor saying it works :shakehead:

it could depend on the vehicle that was used.
