"They say" that the best responders for rev are those who are younger and at the very early stages of hairloss.
I used it for about a year in combo w/ 2% spironolactone, minoxidil, and copper peptides - but no help. My follicles may have been too far gone though.
If you're still on the fence and haven't committed to rev yet, you might want to look into super zix instead.
The success rate w/ super zix seems to be just a little better than those trying rev.
Just my opinion.
It's a lot less expensive, doesn't crap up your hair, and might help. I used super zix for aout 2 years, and it helped, but then the benefits began to wane.

But basically, you buy some of the "good" zinc, b6, liquid saw palmetto, and polysorbate 80 (I forget if there's anything else) , mix it up in some distilled water and ethyl alcohol, and massage 1 ml into your scalp 2x daily.
The ingredients last a really long time, and it feels good as it goes on.
Wouldn't hurt to read up on it.

It's a hard decision. If you're already using minoxidil I'd recommend staying w/ it.
You have the option though of either trying zix on its own, or using both zix and minoxidil.

Don't regret using minoxidil. People have funny thinking about minoxidil. It's not like a hair that has gotten any help from minoxidil is "contaminated" for life and once you stop, no matter what, that hair will fall out.
Hairs that you would have grown using Zix or Revivogen or whatever should stick around. If the hair falls out, you never would have had it anyhow if you hadn't started minoxidil.
