Revivogen v spironolactone v fluridil

Which one of these is better? I have heard there are success stories with all three. Could one experienced forum member post the links to the success stories of people on only on of these (no finasteride). Thanks very much.

ive been on revivogen for 5 months because i couldnt handle propecias side effects anymore and my hair is getting healthier and stronger every month , I love the stuff it goes on easier then rogaine and it has no annoying side effects like water retention and hair growth on forehead and cheeks..i would recomend it to anyone

Ok thanks for reply. Do you think that revivogen is powerful enough to allow me to maintain what I already have? Also if I was to use rogaine foam, how long would I have to wait to apply it after revivogen? Does everyone else agree that revivogen is better than spironolactone and fluridil? I like the sound of revivogen because it contains more than one ingredient whereas the other two just contain one compound.

you have to use rogaine 3 hours after youve washed revivogen out and vice versa..and yes it will help you mantain your hair alone with a slight regrowth

Thanks again for the reply... one more question - if I wash revivogen out in three hours will it still be beneficial; I mean why not apply Rogaine three hours after reviviogen without washing? Do other users agree that revivogen is better than the other two mentioned in the title?

What do you want people to say? All these products are unproven. I use spironolactone myself and just had to stop because of side effects. I used revivogen but didn't do sh*t for me. Fluridil I didn't try. So? What now? Any ideas?

Oh right propecia, nizoral and minoxidil. Jeeez thanks.

Ok so what possible side effects could you have got from a topical spironolactone solution? Secondly although revivogen didn't work for you, would you say it didn't make your hair worse?

I used Dr.Lee's spironolactone and everything was fine. Then I switched to GenHair's that had also retinol in it and I got sides. I'm very sensitive to anti androgen drugs.

Revivogen was a mess for me. It stains your pillows, is very greasy... I was using it for 3-4 months. No effect. I'm buzzed down so any change in hair count is not so easily spoted.

lol 3 or 4 months wont cut it.you have to use for atleast 6 months even up to 12 months and it does work its the best product ive ever used especially cause it has no side effects

It IS kinda silly when you think about it: how many people here would ever say something like, "I used Propecia for 3 or 4 months and I didn't see any results, so I stopped using it"?

There seems to be a kind of double-standard when it comes to some hairloss treatments: people have generally gotten smart enough to realize that you have to be in it for the long-haul when you start using finasteride, and you don't quit after a little while just because you don't start growing hair like a Chia Pet right away!

But when it comes to something generally unproven like Revivogen, OH NO!! That's a different story, even though it's supposed to work in a similar fashion as finasteride (by inhibiting 5a-reductase), and if it doesn't show VISIBLE RESULTS in 3-4 months, it's outta there, by God! :wink:

I didn't quit because of that. It stains everything my shirt, pillows basicaly everything I touch with my head. So that was the biggest problem for me. So I stoped but I also didn't notice any effect in that time.

Apoc, could you please give a little more details on the sides you were having from topical spironolactone? you can read my story (link in my signature), I think I was having them too.

Person: due to price considerations I think you should start with topical 5% spironolactone, and if it's nnot good enough you should switch to fluridil (I'm pretty happy with it, except for the price). Revivogen has some very good result in-vitro, but I don't know about any clinical trial with humans.

I'd say so. It's applied topically and supposedly doesn't take long to dry. Dries in apparently, less than 30 mins.
