Revivogen question

I've read that this is a topical DHT blocker. I'm looking to maintaine my hairline as I have't receded that much at the moment - is revivogen the best way to do that? Does anyone have good experinces on it?

I'd rather not have the sides of propecia etc...

i just bought revivogen a few weeks ago, but i havnt used it yet, im waiting to shave my head. my only hair problem is that the hairline and temples are receding to, i hope it works for us!

The deal w/ Revivogen is that it's supposed to work best for those that are younger and at the earlier stages of hairloss. I used it for over a year - and no help. But I may have already been too far gone.

If you like the idea of Revivogen, you might want to look into Super Zix as a possible alternative down the road. Much less expensive and much more user friendly. I used that for 2 years and had better luck w/ it than w/ Revivogen.

I'd recommend trying Revivogen (which only needs to be applied once a day), Eucapil (Fluridil), or Genhair's version of spironolactone 5% cream. The great thing about your case too is that, even if one product is expensive -- it will last you quite a long time since you are only applying it to your hairline.

Cheers guys - Checking my hairline again (as most of us regularly do) I've noticed it's slightly worse than I thought. I'm thinking of combining revivogen with some rogaine and just use that to maintain what I have and maybe regrow a little. If I wear my hair down you can't really notice any receding really. It's only noticeable when it is tied up.

I'll start over the summer I think and then post some results after a few months. Hopefully I'll be lucky because I'm starting early on in the hair-loss process.

tian cross i would strongly advise trying one product at a time. if you experience any adverse affects you will not know which treatment of the two to attribute these effects to. I have used revivogen and for close to 2 years it maintained my hairline so I would give this a try first.

Thanks Eddie. I think I'll try revivogen first as I really would like to stop the receeding. Could I ask how old you are and what your hairline was like when you started on revivogen?

Im 20. My hairline was not far away from perfect. Only very slight recession, but definite male pattern baldness nonetheless. It halted the itching immediately and shedding immediately.

So is revivogen purely for maintence, not regrowth? I might buy it...wish I heard about this earlier.

for some it will maintain for some it will regrow for others it will do nothing. youll know after 3 months of use.

That's the thing - I'm also 20 and the thought of going bald early isn't a great one! Hence the reason for this!
