Revivogen. The most-hyped product this year, i'd say. Thanks to that study.

Well, i liked the marketing of Revivogen a lot. Their explanations seemed very professional and the testimonials seemed realistic as well.

But how does the reality look like? On hairlosshelp i didnt find any positive Reviews of Revivogen, just negative comments which claimed that it would be just another scam.

I'm using Revivogen for almost one month now. Of course, i dont expect anything at this time.

But i'm really depressed now about all the negative comments i read on the real hairlossites. It makes me think that i'm just losing more time.

BTW, i cant use propecia. Another one of the 2%, i guess.

Long story short: What do you guys think about Revivogen?

Btw, i still have a lot of hair, startet balding around 2 years ago. But it's a diffuse and pretty agressive hairloss. Do i have chances at all? Another of this depressing balding days...

Philly, ill never ever touch finasteride again. not even in a 0,01 dosage.
I know that u have some strange opinion about Revivogen (first you loved it, now you hate it). But finasteride just isn't possible for me anymore. And btw, 0,25, 0,5 and 1 mg due have the same dht reducing effect.

BUT PLEASE @all posters, DONT post anything about propecia here. I'm not gonna take it anymore, doesnt matter what anyone's gonna post here about it. So please, don't.

Well, i asked you guys not to talk about propecia in this thread anymore, but whatever.
I was on finasteride for 4 month on 1 mg, 1 month 0,5. Can we forget it now?

I'd like to hear some comments about Revivo as well :(

Until now, i can say that you will see good results with revivogen.
Worth to try it as alternate to propecia.

First, stopped (or reduced a lot) my hairloss.
Second, i feel my hairs better, healthier and thicker.
However, my hairloss started @ '99 and i started Revivo summer '07 (with Tricomin first, now i started Rogaine too).
I saw some new hairs lately, very tiny and small but i can't expect anything yet, so i am waiting.

Revivogen will not regrow thats a definite. I've been using it for around 3 months, with a 1 month break after. No regrowth, slightly worsening in crown with thinning, but not major shedding... I'm kinda confused.... Don't even know if I'm applying it correctly. The one positive is that the shampoo n conditioner rock. Rotate it with nizoral.

I started revivogen 'again' about a month ago, while I'm still waiting for my finpecia to arrive from utdpharm. I had sides on finasteride when I used it some years ago and a little nervous about starting it again so will go in at a lower dose...anyway enough about finasteride for now.

I used revivogen years ago when it first came out within a couple of months I noticed a halt in shedding at the time, it may have just been coincidence though as after 6months I went off it due to irritation and didnt shed much after that anyway, so I guess my hairloss just slowed down again.

I have noticed about recent revivogen that it has slowed the rate I've been shedding at again but this time it really is a mess to use. Originally it was clear liquid, now its red wine colored. The red residue does wash out but its very greasy and I look like someone out of dawn of the dead after nightly applications. I'm free and single at the mo but cant imagine an other half being to happy about seeing me looking like I removed an axe from my forehead just before bed and first thing in the morning. Will continue with it for a while but am seriously thinking about that flutagel stuff, hope to see more feedback soon on it.

If you're def not going to take propecia then I'd get on flutagel or topical spironolactone (maybe revivogen cos it seems to have some benefits despite the mess) Hopefully they can 'sort out' the grape extract causing the increased redness in the near future.

there is no redness.....

i agree with the poster who started this thread, I do not want to touch propecia ever again, it DEFINATELY fucks with your sperm count, no doubt. I also beleive its problems are irreversible i.e. gyno....

hey i've been using revivogen for about two months with no noticeable improvement, although its too early to tell.

I watched the revivogen promotional video, the doctor who came up with the product says he started working on it because he started losing his hair. He says he started losing his hair when he was nineteen, that is a lie, you can tell he has never suffered from male pattern baldness. I would have more faith in the product if he hadn't said that. I still bought it though.

Yes, thats true about this Dr. Kadhavi.

But barry, the other one in the video, seems to be a pretty good responder to revivogen, i really believe that he had success with it.

Btw, bob's your uncle, with no visible improvement you mean no added thickness or no slowing down of hairloss?

I haven't had any results from it, only been on it a couple months though, But yea the shampoo and conditioner are good.

On the propecia thing, you can lower the dosage as much as you want but 0.25 is basically as strong as a whole pill, most people who have sides from the whole pill will have sides from finasteride period no matter how small the dose.

@all posters: WHEN did you youse Revivogen and how bad was your hairloss (agressive? Norwood?) I think that people who had success were using the new formula.

I've been using the new revivogen formula. I am a norwood 2 and my hair has continued to thin in the temple region, mostly my right side, it may be a shed. I also use finasteride every 2 or 3 days (I've been on it about 8 months, everyday for the first 6), I was getting a tingling sensation where my hair was thinning so I reduced my finasteride intake and the tingling is almost gone. In saying that one of the other posters said that was a good sign and he experienced reqrowth where he noticed his scalp tingling

Been on Revivo and minoxidil for one month now, and my present horrible hairloss continues. I'm loosing tons of hair in the front (behind the hairline). I'm using minoxidil in the temples and front, Revivo in front, temples and crown.

Damnit =/
