i started using revivogen nightly last week. i recall reading somewhere that morning and night applications of rogaine are unnecessary when using revivogen. once daily applications are ok.

is this true? ive been using tricomin and rogaine in the mornings, and revivogen in the evenings. prior to this i had always used rogaine in the morning and night. will this change cause a shed or is the addition of revivogen (and tricomin) sufficient to prevent that?

Don't risk it man, stick with twice a day minoxidil application...

75% of Minoxidil is absorbed 4hours after application, so if you applied it at say 6 or 7pm and then applied Revivogen before you went to bed, it would be fine.

I've found that my scalp can't handle two doses of Regaine and then Revivogen. It's very dry and a bit crusty. Have had to choose one or the other in the evening, which is a scary choice after years of using Regaine and definite slowing of loss.

i decided to go ahead and continue using rogaine twice a day along with tricomin in the mornings and the revivogen at night. so far ive been experiencing a shed which i expected (i hope its a shed - i stopped using propecia in mid dec after a year of decent results due to sides). so far no scalp dryness, which i attribute to the awesome conditioner i use. however i heard tricomin also promotes healing/healthy scalp, while at the some time causing irritation in others. strange).

i use min new york hair products that are supposed "dht blockers" - its a regimen that consists of a detox twice a week, daily shampoo, and daily conditioner (i combine the conditioner w nizoral 3 times a week, and t gel once a week).

the conditioner has all kinds of good stuff in it including copper peptides (procapil?), biotin, saw palmetto, azelaic acid (sp) and cant really remember what else. basicallly it leaves the scalp and hair pretty healthy. hopefully this regimen will allow all of the above to work better.
