I ask because I may end up using one of them in combination with fluridil as a backup plan later! I want to know which has proven most effective for people and is the preferred topical (I know they work in different ways, but they are at heart both anti-androgens).

It seems that spironolactone is a more popular choice amongst members here? Could you use the two together?

Way too early to tell if that is most popular :p

The reason i use it is cus it is so fast to apply, and dry fast. Only applying at night cus of the smell it can make when you got minoxidil on the head.

The one i use got aloe vera too so i "think" it might be a little anti-inflammatory. Dont know how much is it tho

After this site http://www.hairlosstalk.com/hair-loss-t ... risons.php revivogen is both a DHT inhibitor + androgen blocker while spironolactone is only a adrogen blocker

Something else that is a huge + is the thing you read on revivogen.com's FAQ:
"However, unlike many other products, you can decrease the frequency of Revivogen application over time by tapering off daily use and ultimately reducing use to three to five times a week. This usually takes up to twelve to sixteen months of use."

Of course! Combine the two with fluridil (3 applications a day.. but still!) and I would imagine that would kill hair loss dead for most people, it would be SO strong!

Did you get any shedding on Revivogen? Also, is it irritating your scalp at all?
