Greetings,

I'm guessing it is around 12-18mths since Revita shampoo was launched.
I have 1/4 left of the one bottle left I purchased several months ago, It leaves my hair feeling good but nothing amazing, havent used it as directed so cant judge peformance.

After reading all the posts about people who shed and had negative effects, I was wondering who is still using it?

Do we love or hate revita shampoo?

i just dont have enough faith that hairs shedded from a shampoo would grow back. from finasteride or minoxidil its maybe a different story as theres a lot of testimonials to back it up. just my opinion.

it feels really artificial too and i hate that in anything. except airline food.

I'm in the same boat as you. I purchased a bottle of Revita several months ago, but never finished using it, so I can't say. I decided to use DR Proctor's nano shampoo instead.

Awfull stuff used it for about a month or so. drying and striping. makes your scalp more itchy greecey and sore by the next day and it triggerd off telogen effilum for me not a bad case but my hair shed for 3 months after and not just my balding spots ALL OVER!

Stay away from this if you want to keep your hair!

Spectral DNC seem to work for me though been on that a year, so i guess they got that right.

as I said befor I think they need to ditch the ketocenzol in the shampoo as I dont think everyone has a good time with it.

i'm ordering another bottle.

i ordered 2 bottles when it first came out and they lasted me a year. i am a fan.

i do what they recommend. i leave it in for 2 minutes. then i rinse my head really good. this is pure guesswork but i'm guessing the ketoconazole helps to "flush out" the sebum and with it the DHT. i know it really takes the oil out of your hair. i have short hair, which is good. it makes your hair look horrible, the stuff. very drying. use it in the p.m. to help your hair build up some oil for the next day so it looks better.

after the 2 minutes i leave it on for 5 minutes. i really rub it in good too, both times. the ingredients have to make it into your scalp, and i think rubbing them in will work a lot better than just hoping they absorb because of gravity. after the second lather i don't rinse as much, hoping that the non-ketoconazole ingredients stay in the scalp and do their thing.

i have stopped using drugs, all i use these days are green tea (orally and topically), retin-A, and Revita. I will let everyone know if i start losing my hair.

and, FWIW, Revita made me shed. I stuck with it. I got all my hair back.

They have removed Ketaconazole from the shampoo in Europe......... I still use it alongside Lipogaine BIG3 and Regenepure DR. My best favourite Keto based shampoo is Regenepure DR.

I've used Regenpure. I genuinely don't see the point of it though and it's a f*****g ripoff they keep jacking up the prices. Significantly more expensive than nizoral, has half the ketoconazole of Nizoral (the only active ingredient that does anything), and both make your hair look like sh*t - so need a conditioner after anyway. Nizoral + conditioner is the way to go.

And yes Revita is just a scam if they don't even have Ketaconazole anymore in Europe.

Most of the population will be too dumb to notice so think shampoos will do anything. Even Ketaconazole will give a minor improvement at best.

Hey I found at the start of my hair loss journey Ketaconazole worked great, I’m still happy to use these shampoos and they smell great.
