Has this been considered? I can't image mind blowing effects but it's possible to aid in some way.

If PGD2 is causing some balding and is sysnthsized near the scalp/follicles then it's possible that over saturating the scalp (maybe after a hot shower with some opened pores) with what's known to be a natural PGD2 inhibitor can act as guardians to the follicle that are reintroduced every other day or what is needed.

Desperate tactic yes but thoughts?

In summary:
Resveratrol appears to be a potent PGE2 inhibitor as well, probably through COX inhibition. This isn't what you'd want if you follow the whole prostaglandin hypothesis. You'd be better off slapping salicylic acid on your head.

To note, the whole prostaglandin approach remains inconclusive, no matter how much that windbag Cotsarelis wants it to be true. Despite being a very reputable researcher and dermatologist, he hasn't produced anything practically relevant so far in the field of hair loss, unless you count Follica's promises of follicle neogenesis.

By the way, resveratrol has been discussed many times before around here, please use the search function next time.

More importantly than COX-2 (PGE2), it is a COX-1 (PGE1) inhibitor too. Basically it is pretty much useless and would probably do your hair more harm than good.
