Retinol vs Tretinoin with minoxidil

Does anyone here use retinol instead of tret? Idk how to ask my Doctor to give me tret so I just get ret off of Amazon

You can use online pharmacies I use one in the UK but there are many choices, I believe tret is very potent compared to the otc stuff.
