I use a 0.05% retin A cream on my face every day for acne, would my hair benefit if I started applying it to my hairline?

Studies have shown it does. I apply .05% retinoic acid to my scalp at night just before derma rolling and minoxidil application.

minoxidil foam has a mild effect on my hair

minoxidil with Retin A liquid has a very good effect on my hair.

I think the Retin A is the main factor there and not the fact the minoxidil is in liquid form.

However on its own i'm not sure how much effect it would have as i've not tested this... but i'd say go for it as it wont do any harm and you might get some results.

If you used minoxidil with it though then thats when you'd get the best results.
