I have some questions.
I've been using Retin-A only on my face more than 6 months, I don't know if it contributed to the massive shedding I've had for a few months. I wasn't on any treatment then, I guess its aggressive male pattern baldness. During that period I've also used a lot of styling products like clay, hairspray and also drying my hair using a hair dryer. Do all these contribute to hair loss? Before my massive shedding, I was already experiencing hair loss, but not as massive as the past few months.
You guys use Retin-A because it chemically peels the scalp skin away for better absorption of minoxidil right? How about using glycolic acid (AHA)? It is also a chemical peeling cream. Reading one study says that Retin-A induces hairloss so glycolic acid is another option i'm looking at.
Now, I'm thinking whether to use Retin-A on my scalp or not..
Any thoughts?
