Retin-A and Rogaine foam?

When I added Retin-A (tube version) to my regimen I saw a boost in results after two months. Would using Retin-A be as effective with the foam version because of the different delivery system?

thanks guys! i started applying it very lightly along the hairline monday. i plan on doing this every other day.
