Hate to say this, I made the same mistake as you, in that I didn't start Finasteride
until later than life.

It's probably going to take something stronger than that, to bring it back.

You're in the "Norwood four" zone. Don't fool yourself.

what would you suggest dutasteride? I can't afford a hair transplant and I agree cuz when I spoke my hair up it's very thin at the scalp but I can see a difference when I feel in bits were its balding wee fine hairs tbag definitely weren't there before

@James mccrudden

I suggest going higher on Finasteride, as long as it doesn't stop the "flow", if you
know what I mean. Maybe two milligrams, or one and a half.

That, and put twice the five percent foam on.

I'm not proud of the stuff I take. But I think if I started in my mid thirties even, I wouldn't
have to take all the sh*t I use now.

It's already very North (your hairline), in fact, it meets your vertex (almost). That's a very
bad sign.

I hope you are using Minoxidil at least twice a day, if not more, on your hairline? You really
should.

I'm really self conscious about it have to wear a hat going out and stuff like how bad is the sign? I'm all new to this I should of got it sorted a long time ago but I didn't know nothing about it and thought it was just because I was stressed and when I was put on medication thought it would of grew back because I was on stress relief but was so wrong wish I had of new the stuff I know now back then I'll take your advice and try that want my hair back would literally not go out of i became

Don't be a hat prisoner, even if you do go bald. That's a bad reason. You're not the
only one.

You just have to keep taking your medication, and get a higher dose if needed. That's just
my opinion.

You already know it's far North. It's between a Norwood 4 and 3, I would say.

How high of a probability would it be to get it back from a nw4 to say nw2? I would be happy with that

It depends on what you're willing to take, and how far you take it.

Are there things that will bring your hair back sooner, yes.

Will they have possible permanent side effects: YES.

lol at taking 2 mg fina instead of 1 mg
will make no difference at all .
with the current treatment , your temple will not come back . even transgender regimen doesnt fullly regrow temple
, only a hair transplant will do this

2mg of finasteride is literally no different than taking 1mg, so don't waste your time or money on that .

Some people find dutasteride more effective than finasteride, but then sides are more likely.

Honestly, it looks and sounds like the regiment you're on now is working. You're not losing hair and in fact, you've made some gains.
