My right temple point has very bad thining (needs thickening up), aside from that I am a NW1. Is there anyway I can restore them without using minoxidil?

Thanks.

even minoxidil may not even fill in those points

it's you best shot though IMO

Is it worth risking it? I have heard stories of minoxidil dependency from other hairs that are not dependent on minoxidil.

But can't you be happy in the fact that well.. I think everyone I know has fine temple points!?

It's normal, in women and men of all ages. It's juvenile hair.

I think minoxidil is a bad idea unless you start to lose hair elsewhere, it can have sides, why risk it for what is atm such a small issue? I appreciate it may be a big one for you though.

Regards

Yeah its just for purely cosmetic reasons SuperMeh. I guess I really miss them, problem with having little - fine temple points is that your sides look straight and undefined.

Saying that, you are right I am not going to risk it over a small issue, which is why ideally I am looking for another way to thicken them up whilst the follicles are still there and alive.

I've seen guys that have kept theirs.

restoring the temples is impossible.

Thats one area that treatments just can't cover.

You cannot say that on any hairloss forum!!!!!hahaha

Although we like to be optimistic, we still have to be realistic about what current treatments are able to achieive.

Look at Kiel and some others lucky members!!!

Oh you mean ones who never had hair loss to begin with? Or perhaps only had thinning?

So there is nothing I can do, given that my temple points are thing and thats it.

??

Do you guys see temple points as the hair above the sideburns or the hair at the both ends of the hairline?

You pretty much have to surrender some of your hairline and temples.

Is this an indication of male pattern baldness?
