Restoring hair color and life to a hair unit

I have worn a hair system for several years. Typically when it begins to loose color and life I have a used a hair color for men product that I use on my hair to help restore color on the unit. This works ok but I'm wondering if any other users have found a place where they can buy color/life restorer? I have known one stylist that had a product that he put in water and simply dipped the unit in the solution and that restored life and color.

Appreciate any advice/comments....

The best product I have found is "Back2Natural" color depositing conditioner. Use it once every 2 - 3 weeks in place of your regular conditioner. It is manufactured by a company that specializes in color-treated hair and especially hairpieces and wigs.
