I was taking the big three since 2016 with great results, Last year i decided to stop taking Minoxidil since it was too troublesome to apply and i figured that Finesteride and Nizoral would be enough to maintain what i had.
I was assuming that since Finesteride helps you "Keep" the hair that you have that it would also maintain the hair growth from Minoxidil, This was a big mistake, Within 2 months of stopping Minoxidil my hair started falling like crazy, It was actually insane how fast my hair regressed, within 6 months after stopping Minoxidil my hair was the same or worse than when i started Propecia/Min 3 years ago.
So in January i decided to begin Minoxidil treatment once again, I started using the foam since it is much easier to apply and doesn't run off like the liquid, Within 2 months my hair started recovering and now it is almost back to what it was early last year.
This is 6 months after stopping Minoxidil (December 2018)
This is 4 months after restarting Minoxidil (April 2019)
The lesson here is that Finesteride cannot hold on to hair grown my Minoxidil, The hair growth done my minoxidil will fall out even if taking Finesteride and Nizoral, Thankfully my stupidity did not result in permanent and i was able to regain my hair after restarting minoxidil.
