These things could have an impact on hair if they were long term. Nevertheless its always a good idea to maintain a patterned healthy lifestyl as to to eliminate any such incidental causes...

interesting. Personally I first noticed hair loss during a period when I was sleeping very late, working on the computer until 4, 5, 6am for a period of months. I was also under great stress during this time. Seems like common sense that it would have some sort of negative effects.

its called college.
while its good to have a patterned lifestyle, pattern goes out the window once a person enters college. Its impossible to hit the hay early and wake up early...college and studying dont allow it.
So no, i dont think less hours of sleep here and there for exam cramming does anything. If it did, every single college student and temporary insomniac would be bald. That is just not the case.

That said, if it becomes a chronic problem, and by chronic i mean a DISORDER, then yea it will have detrimental effects overall on your entire appearance

JayB, I see the parallel with college, however in my case it was (and is) work :(

Sometimes it sure would be easier working for a boss, in a regular company...
