Yes, by all means try Tricomin, nizoral shampoo (possibly a Keto cream too). Essential oils are another option - Rosemary, Lavender, Thyme, Cedarwood in a Jojobo oil base.

I'm not sure why you would have to stop Rogaine while pregnant unless it might affect the blood/heart action of an unborn child. I haven't seen any research on this.

Have you had your blood work done and your thyroid action checked? If not, please do as this can be a common cause of hair loss in women. The only other treatment I see recommended for women is Spironolactone.

Good luck with it - hair loss is a curse, male or female.

I don't understand why the Doctor tells you not to touch minoxidil before you give birth to a baby.

For the least part of it, you can use nizoral shampoo, its very safe and hopefully it helps to improve your scalp condition, best of luck!

Hey there. If the doctor tells you to stop the rogaine, then you probably should. My mom started losing her hair pretty fast, I mean she was getitng a noticeable bald spot. She went to like 4 or 5 doctors and they all said the same thing. "Sorry, there's nothign that can be done." Then she found a trichologist, who is someone that specializes in hairloss as opposed to anything else. He gave her some special shampoo. and a variety of stuff to smear on her head. This is stuff that i;ve never heard of. I swear on my life, her hair has improved tremendously. Its as thick as ever and no bald spot at all. As an additional bonus, a lot of her gray has turned black. If its possible, I'd recommend seeing a trichologist since they'd know what to do a lot better and there IS something that can be done. Good luck!
