Have you guys seen the poster for Jude Law's new movie? Don't you just love how they crop off the top part of his so head you can't see his receding hairline? This is done all the time with Jason Statham as well. It really pisses me off. A bald guy is having a successful acting career in spite of his baldness yet whoever is in charge of designing these posters finds it necessary to hide their hair loss. It's offensive, they're essentially saying, if we show people that this guy is bald, they won't come see the movie. Oh yeah? Well go to hell! :thumbdown2:

But he's not even bald! Just has a really short hair cut. Tell UC man that Forrest Whitaker is bald and he'll give you an earful.

Right on q! lol. He's not bald UC man, BUT he is at least a norwood 3 which is considered cosmetically significant hair loss and the first stage of balding.

He has been a NW2.5-3 with no bald spot since his late 20s which is quite a long time.I guess he is on the big 3 and maintained well for all these years.Even if things worsen up,he will get a hair transplant and continue to have the same hairline till his 60s much like Kevin Costner.

You make it sound as if his hair loss hasn't progressed in the last 10 years. I'll agree that it has been very slow, but go take a look at The talented Mr Ripley, he was late 20's in that movie and had a norwood 1.5, 2 at worst. I would say his hair loss is MUCH more noticeable now.

he's bald to 99% of the population. Most people won't realize he's bald and the fact that you have to "take a better look" means he might as well be bald. People don't care as much as we think they do.

Compared to a couple of years ago,it surely looks to have gotten worse.

True, hair loss was a bit more advanced than I remembered. Still, I'd say it's worse now. He is good at styling it though and must be on the big 3 because I'd think he should be norwood 4 or 5 by now.

I always wondered how Heath Ledger's hair-line would turn out as well.

Just another handsome guy who gave a lot of hope to those of us who are casually balding. I remember when I was first getting around a norwood 2.5, whenever I would see any of those two guys I would be able to be content and shrug off male pattern baldness for a while longer.
