Removing the Top from Walker's Thick Scalp Protector

I found a tube of this and it's entirely full. I realize I've never given scalp protector a fair shot, because the product would come out of the f*****g tube.

I've heard some people remove the top - what's the method for that & what's the method afterward? Where do you put the product, how do you subsequently apply, etc.

If I recall, it unscrews. It's best to leave the dauber in tact, as it ensures thin coats.

Very simple...... Press the dauber like you're playing bingo....each time you release and press it dispenses more to the applicator.
Before putting away be sure to clean the applicator with alcohol... otherwise you're allowing the acrylic/plastic to cure on the applicator..... which would now prevent the applicator from absorbing the liquid...making it impossible to transfer it to your scalp.... It's no different than cleaning a paint brush......and for the same reason....

I use a cotton ball just like max hold sports. With this little brush it´s impossible to cover the head

This thing was beyond useless with the extreme sport. Not sure if your tube is the same but I just took a pair of plyers and pulled off the whole top with them. Came off quite easily and the screw lid still works fine. I use an artist acrylic paint brush to apply and it works well. All the brushes that come with all these products are useless IMO. Also much cheaper to get the dab on and pull the dabber off and use a proper brush.

I've used it for years, with no problem. It appears, to me, people are not cleaning the dauber.
