Regrowth Percentages - Are the cumulative?

Would you say trying every hair-regrowth drug on the market is worth it? Does the regrowth usually only affect the same people regardless of the drug or do they all react differently to different people. For instance, if Rogaine said it regrows in 25% and Propecia says it regrows in 15% and Adovart says it regrows in 20%... is that now closer to a 55% chance or regrowth or is it basically that if one doesn't regrow hair then none of them will. Share your experiences.

Thanks.

Avodart is a much stronger drug than Propecia, so regrowth seen with Propecia should have been achieved by Avodart as well (at least in theory). Rogaine improves your chances on regrowth since it works different than the other two, so yes, a combination of Rogaine and Avodart basically is the best weapon we have.

I'd say that some work on some, others work on others, all work on a few, some don't work at all on a minority and the percentages are just guidelines for the individual drugs as a resulted of the research carried out.

did that make sense?! :hairy:

LOL! Yes the more % you gather the more hair you regrow. But be careful not to go over 100% or you will start growing hair on your eyeballs.

re:

Approaching hair loss solutions is never a perfect science. Some things work for one individual and not for others. All we know is that case studies report that a majority of finasteride and/or minoxidil users report positive "results". Now positive results may mean a slow down in the rate of hair loss, a complete halting or the loss or regrowth.
