regrowth in natural progression?

Im noticing lots of regrowth around the temples and hairline and I don't quite understand the resoning behind the forward progression. The new hair in the 'ghost hairline' seems to diminish in size the further away from the already established hairline that it moves. Why doesn't all the new hair just appear all at once?

I know this mainly has to do with a re-awakening of the follicle, but what is most perplexing is the stuff coming in areas on the forehead that I have FOREVER had no hair whatsoever, as I have always been at best a Norwood 2 and seemed to stabilize at a high Norwood 2, or even Norwood 3 with just alot of diffusion and not a real 'cut and dry' recession. The temple hair coming in after just a few months is something I honestly have never had since when I was maybe a pre-teen.

Then, a good 1.5 or 2 inches down from the concave temple hairline are gangs of black stubble that have been just sitting there since after the first month of my regimen. For a damn fact have I never had a hairline that low before! It's the equivalent of being slick bald for 30 years I guess, and seeing this stuff just pop in within a short time. Is this telling me I have a chance of claiming a hairline that far down from my original hairline?? Im just trying to make sense of things here so I can get a better understanding of what's going on..

See, my Dad who is 60 is maybe closest to a Norwood 5, but with major diffusion. He has patchy tufts of hair all over his scalp, like in the very front and can't be classified as 'slick bald.' His two brothers, 1 older and 1 younger, and his father (had) have AMAZING heads of coarse thick Norwood 1.5 heads of hair. My hair is getting coarse and is the same type of hair as my uncles, except much more diffuse. If it keeps going like it is right now, considering the temples are thickening and moving forward, it could be in league with my uncles. One thing about my Dad is has been plagued with bad hearing since he was a kid and he has always been depressed and downtrodden and unfortunatley let things get the best of him when he was younger. Inner turmoil just may be a major cause, who knows?

Yup, at least to me, you come across with this situation as a good responder! Crossing fingers as you continue with this regimen!
