So I've been on 0.5mg of finasteride for a year now. I weened onto it and have now got a lot of hairs that seem to be growing through my current hair. When I pull my hair back (I have longish hair) I can see loads of thick dark hairs from 1cm to 2cm sprouting upwards. I've lost all the faint blonde thin hairs I've had across my hairline for years. However, my crown seems to have lost all the blonde hairs with no regrowth. Maybe I can't see them though. I can easily look at my hairline but not my crown close.
I'm thinking of going up to 1mg or maybe getting 5mg tablets and splitting into 4.
