regrowing? pics included

Dear friends,
I come from Uzbekistan (Central Asia). I am 24 years old, male. I just want to show my progress and know your opinion. I take 1.25mg finasteride (cutting it into 4) every day since the end of January 2008 (we do not have any other treatments other than finasteride ). So, it's been a bit more than 6 month since I'm on this regime. I've had no side effects at all. I've experienced a huge shedding at the month 3 to 4. That was a horrible feeling. Than it came back to normal.
Recently I've noticed that the hair i'm loosing is mostly thin (that has never been before). Can anyone tell me what it means? did anyone experienced this?

These are my photos. Dates are illustrated. Unfornutanely, I do not have good photos before I started regime. In my opinion, I am regrowing back even though I am still loosing hair. I see alot less hair on my pillow and in bath.

Yeah, I think so too! But when to expect densening of hair? is 6 month enough to make any judgements? should i expect any improvements?

Guys, I have a question:

Does the fact that you are loosing a lot less hair than, say 2 months ago, means i will soon start to regrow?

I've noticed that less hair coming out after a recent shedding.

That's the idea of a shed. The hair falls out so new hair can grow.
In case you take minoxidil or finasteride, the new hair will be stronger.

Congrats! Your crown area seems to be filling in! In about a months time , shave and update pics!

Thanks guys. I've also recently noticed some itchings and "burning" on my scalp. What could that mean? and also, how much time should pass after hair falls out to see regrowth?

try nizoral shampoo, it should take the itching and inflammation away. use it 2 to 3 times a week.
