Regarding Minoxidil

Hey Guys

i got a question if you could help me out

i am 21 years old

a few years back i lost hair from the sides of my head
kinda like this guy

but not that much

so a few weeks ago i went to a dermatologist because of my acne so i asked him about my hair
he examined my head with his hands for a few seconds only and told me that i lost my hair due to hereditary

i don't know why but i don't really believe him
because he didn't ask any questions or use any equipment to examine my head

Anyway my question is
if i try Minoxidil and my hair loss isn't due to hereditary
will Minoxidil do any harm to me?

Minoxidil can be used virtually in all cases of hair loss, both in men and women. It is a growth stimulant.
