Hi all, new poster here although I’ll admit I’ve been on here a few times in the last few years.
I have extremely thick and curly unruly hair, but in my mid 20s my hairline receded quite dramatically in a short space of time (although always had a high hairline) and I was worried I would go bald in the next few years, even shaving my head after my wedding 4 years ago.
In my teens I had long hair and decided to grow it long again, after having it short for 10 years - I was finding it was worse on the right side and my existing hair at the front wasn’t covering it up sufficiently.
So I’m 12 months into using regaine twice daily, the only other supplement I use is Biotin which I find helps my skin as well as hair.
I’ve posted pictures of before, 6 months and 12 months, together with a close up.
I’ve noticed my hair is thicker at the front and in better condition, but can’t say I’ve seen much change in hairline, aside from extremely white/blonde fluffy hairs on close inspection.
I guess I’m just here to get some support/advice - does it look any different, should I carry on, is it normal at 12 months to notice something but not a great deal?
