I have some Regaine extra strength for men 5% foam and on the patient information leaflet it says,

"This medicine is used to treat hereditary hair loss in men aged 18-49 years."
Why 49? I am 47.

Shall I just stick to Finasteride and Nizoral?

I have troubles believing you are on finasteride at 17... If you're I would say a doctor didn't prescribe you it, to be honest you should wait till 20-21 before getting on finasteride.

Doesn't matter. You can use it. But if your hairloss isn't that bad i'd not recommend that because you'll need to use it forever or you'll lose all the hairs gained from it.

Well my hair has been slowly thinning on the top of my head for a few years so I thought I would start Regaine before it gets really bad.
Surely what you typed about needing to use it forever or lose all the hairs gained is the same for any age.

Or Maybe nizoral and finasteride alone are better for my age group?

I have seen ppl above 49 using minoxidil here and it has worked for them but it might not be that effective. Just give it a try and see how it goes for you. and i thought you were 17 after seeing Derpicus' post lol.

I'm positive when I first posted I saw a 17, but I guess that was my mistake.

I did wonder why you thought I was 17.

Thanks for the replies anyway.
