Reflex Hyperandrogenicity - Help Needed

Long story short, finasteride gave me reflex hyperandrogenicity. I started taking finasteride in March and by may/june I realised I had developed RH so stopped taking it. Since then my hair has gradually been getting worse.

I was hoping to get some advice/opinions - should I get back on finasteride? Or will it just make it worse considering it already gave me RH in the first place? Or would minoxidil help at all?

however, the exact same thing has happened to me these past few months. Massive shed - (lost 50% of density), itchy tingly scalp and Increased body hair growth.
i dropped finasteride 24 days ago and im still shedding and losing hair.

im gonna get on RU58841, Rogaine and Zix within a month as i have placed my order.

meanwhile, can you please tell me how your story unfolded since you posted this ?
what did you do? how things went ? and what would you recommend to your fellow victim ?

Hey, sorry to hear about your experience.
I have not recovered anything, I am probably still losing hair at the same rate, but about a year ago I decided to cut my hair short so now I don’t really think about it much. I still have a good head of hair but it is still thinning I think, but fairly slowly.
I don’t obsess over my hair anymore and am now much more at peace with it, although I still wish I had never touched finasteride in the first place and then this would never have happened!

I’ve tried a few treatments but never experimented with any of them for a long period, for various reasons. I think I’m going to try a few treatments again, but this time with more commitment. RU and Setipiprant gave me chest pains so I couldn’t continue with them. Soon I may begin microneedling with PGE2 and scalp massages, also I may try oral castor oil. It would be great if I could stop the loss and just maintain, but to be honest it’s not something I obsess over anymore, mostly due to my haircut, which makes it difficult to tell that I am losing hair, so I never really think about it now.

Can you educate me a little about Setipiprant, PGE2 and oral Castor oil? What are they for and how may they help? Maybe i can try them as well.
And yeah lets stay in touch and keep each other updated bro.
